Spring has sprung and April showers will bring May flowers!
It’s an exciting new season…just around the corner, as we move from the cold, dreary winter into a beautiful Long Island springtime. It’s also a special time to honor our faiths. On April 10th, join us in learning and honoring Jewish tradition by attending our Passover Seder in the Unit 2 Dining Room. The event will be lead by Rabbi Mandy Goldberg, Lubavitch of the East End. All are welcome to attend.
Easter Egg Hunt
On April 14th at 2:00 p.m., the Easter Bunny will be hopping over to Water’s Edge in the Unit 2 Dining Room. Our residents, children and grandchildren will participate in an Easter Egg Hunt with the “bunny.” We will be taking Easter pictures, too! It should be a hopping good time.
Earth Day Event
What better way to celebrate Earth Day than a visit to the Suffolk County Farm in Yaphank on Monday, April 22nd. Residents will get to enjoy the many types of animals on the farm, in particular, the new baby bunnies and chicks, which were recently hatched. The fun will begin in the Unit 2 Dining Room at 2:30 p.m. Come and join us. In addition, our Gardening Club will be underway the very next day, Tuesday, April 23rd on our patio with new herbs and vegetables planted for some upcoming tasty meals.
Jeopardy Challenge – Water’s Edge vs. The Hamlet
Check this out! On April 23rd, the residents of Water’s Edge will be traveling to The Hamlet in Nesconset for an exciting afternoon of Jeopardy. How thrilling for our residents to meet one another and enjoy the company at a sister community. It’s a real Spring Fling!
